Smoked Firecrackers

Ingredients

  • 2 sleeves saltine crackers
  • 1 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp BBQ seasoning Store bought or use our ultimate rib rub
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning Store bought or use our cajun rub from our Cajun turkey recipe.
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 200°F.
  • Pour your saltine crackers into a large mixing bowl or prep tub.
  • In a bowl, combine the oil and seasonings and whisk to combine.
  • Pour the seasoned oil over the top of the crackers and mix until every cracker is well-coated.
  • Transfer the seasoned cracker to a wire rack and place on the smoker for one hour, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the smoker and serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
